Request for Proposal (RFP)

Crawford ISO is currently accepting sealed proposals for renovations on the football practice field. Renovations to the playing surface and sprinkler system should be included in the scope of work. In awarding a contract, the District shall consider:

1. Purchase price (75%)

2. Projected start date (10%)

3. The reputation of the vendor and of the vendor ‘s goods and services. (5%)

4. The extent to which the goods or services meet the District’s needs. (5%)

5. The vendor’s past relationship with the District. (5%)

6. The district also reserves the right to decline all proposals.

Renovation Scope of Work

1. Remove the existing soil on the field and replace with six to eight inches of good sandy loam topsoil. Alternative: Mix sand/compost into the existing soil to create a more sustainable growth base.

2. Laser grade the field to provide a crown in the center of the field that is 12-14 inches higher than the sidelines.

3. The field should be graded so that the slope from the center of the field to the sidelines is a smooth, continuous grade with no low areas in the surface.

4. Install drain lines on both sidelines to provide a means of removing excess water from the sideline areas of the field.

5. Install a new sprinkler system on the field.

6. Install Bermuda grass sod on the field.

Alternative: Plant bermuda grass seed rather than installing sod.

7. Please include available start date and projected completion date.

Please submit proposals with primary and alternative options priced.

Schedule for Selection Process

The district will make every effort to adhere to the following schedule:

01/20/22 - Release of Request for Proposal (RFP)

02/04/22 - Deadline for questions concerning the RFP or services requested

02/07/22 - Responses given to any questions provided to all known interested banks

02/18/22 - Deadline for proposal submission

02/21/22 - District Board award of contract

03/01/22 - Contract commencement
