Walter King Jones

Walter King Jones was born on April 12, 1952 in McGregor, Texas, to Johnnie Sargent Jones and Prince Jones. He received and confessed to Christ as his personal Savior at an early age.

Walter graduated from McGregor High School in 1970. After graduation from high school, he attended Prairie View A&M. He later joined the United States Army and served his country in Germany as a Food Service Specialist and Kitchen Supervisor. He was honorably discharged from the Army.

Walter King Jones departed this life on January 21, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother: Earldine Jones, Alma Ridley and Forrest Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters, Arealia Taylor of Houston, Texas; Raydell Erin of Chicago, Illinois; and Brenda Jones of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Prince Jones (Debra) of McGregor, Texas, Buron Jones (Johnnie) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Percy Jones of McGregor, Texas; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
