It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Andre Lamar Dulin, Sr., who departed this life peacefully on Sunset, September 30, in Belton, Texas, with his loving and devoted wife, Teresa, by his side. Andre was born on Sunrise, September 6th, 1971, in Temple, Texas, to Keith Dulin and Evelyn Sue Thomas.
Andre attended McGregor High School, where he participated in football, basketball, and track. Andre will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Andre leaves behind his loyal and dedicated wife Teresa, as well as his son, Christopher Hemphill and wife, Thedisha, of Waco, Texas; son, Andre Lamar Dulin, Jr., a U. S. Soldier deployed to South Korea; granddaughters Niela, Endiya, Cash’lyn and Cymani; loving mother, Evelyn Sue Hemphill, and stepdad, Jimmie Ray Hemphill, of McGregor, Texas; father, Keith Dulin and wife, Pamela, of Ohio. He also leaves behind a brother, Jaidon Hemphill, of McGregor, Texas, and a stepbrother, Anthony Hemphill, Sr., of Waco, Texas; several aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins who will miss him dearly.
Andre was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Thomas, grandfather, Tommy Thomas, Sr., grandmother, Beatrice Dulin, and grandfather, Ed Dulin.
Funeral services for Andre will be held on Friday, October 10, at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Andre Dulin, Jr., Khyran Jones, Jordan White, Rodney Willis, Manuel “GB” Portis, and Cedric McLeain; Honorary Pallbearers: Christopher Hemphill, Ronald Kelley, Terrance Houston, Zachary Thomas, Larry Portis, and Courtney Haynes.
Sweetz, I can only hold on to the hope that you are in a better place where all your pain has come to an end. Until we meet again, I will always love you. Love your wife, Teresa.
