Connie Muegge Connie Muegge

Connie Snow Muegge was born in Deming, New Mexico, on March 31, 1944, and passed away on April 28, 2026, in Temple, Texas.

Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 3 pm with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Connie is survived by her daughters, Lisa Waddington of Temple, and Amy Painter (Eric) of Temple; her son, David Lancaster (Shannon) of Liberty Hill; her grandchildren, Jamie Waddington (Valerie), Randy Ferguson (Diana), Mary Shae Hooper (Harry), Matthew Lancaster (Zoe), Thomas Painter, and Timothy Painter; her great-grandchildren, Emery, Faelyn, Joshua, Indiana, and Alan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Billie Snow, her husband, Jimmy Muegge, and her brother, Richard Snow.

Connie was raised in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1962. She lived most of her life in Austin, where she raised her family and worked as a pediatric nurse for many years. Later in life, she returned to Lampasas and eventually moved to Temple, Texas, in 2023.

Connie enjoyed a life of music, fun, and laughter with great friends, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the Texas Longhorns. She always had a soft spot for the TCU Horned Frogs, too.

Throughout her life, she spent as much time as possible working in the yard and tending to her flowers and plants. She loved her dogs and babied them all, no matter how old they were.

Nonnie, as she was known by her grandchildren, never missed an event. She loved supporting and cheering at football, soccer, band, choir, and theater. If the grandkids were doing it, she was involved. She was dressed in the right school colors and always wore something sparkly.

You knew when Connie was in the room because she always had something clever to say, and she was always quick with a joke. She would stay busier than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs and loved to tell everyone about it.
