Preseason drills to begin Aug. 1

The start of the 2022 high school sports season is almost at hand for area athletes.

New Moody head coach Matt Hurst has notified his athletes that football workouts for students in grades 9-12 swill begin at the MHS Field House at 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1. He also reminded all incoming seventh-, ninth, and 11th-grade athletes they will need a physical to be able to participate in athletics, including football.
